Mike Rockne is a recent graduate of Southern Methodist University, Simmons School of Education and Human Development’s Executive Coaching program. This program has graduates complete over 140 hrs of leadership development training. In addition, Mike will complete his Master of Arts in Dispute Resolution and Conflict Management from SMU in 2018. Mike has spent the past 7 years working in every aspect of public safety (fire, police, and EMS). He has worked as a firefighter/paramedic for the city of Dallas, TX and serves as a public safety officer for the Town of Highland Park, TX. With these departments he has helped develop and implement various employee training, Mentorship, and career development programs. Prior to public service, Mike worked in collegiate athletics while completing his undergraduate studies at Texas Tech University. Mike is passionate and committed to using his experience to help shape the development of leaders and leadership in the 21st century. In addition to helping develop and innovate leadership training, Mike volunteers as a career coach for Allies in Service, a Dallas non-profit group that helps veterans transition into new professional careers after their military service is completed.
